My co-founder recently shared a great article “Practical steps towards simplifying your product” written by Max Klein.
The premise of the article is that if you can’t explain your product to your customers instantly then simplify. You should be able to describe your product in one sentence, people don’t want to listen you explain it.
We often experience that as we meet customers. They ask us “What does Neemware do?” To try and optimize our marketing we would try words like “We help you engage with your mobile customers.” Sometimes we talk technical “Neemware provides SDK to mobile owners to engage and get answers.” Then we started to see a pattern – Our customers would reply back and say “Oh, so you are like Surveymonkey for Apps.”
I thought of putting this post to explain our current in one line – “Neemware helps you survey you mobile customers, and helps you get answers to make better decisions.”
